Paint Brush Care Quick Tips

  • Before use, gently rinse the bristles with your fingers for a few minutes until the bristles become soft.

  • Clean your paintbrush immediately after use, especially the base of the bristles which is the area near the ferrule.

  • Never let paint dry out on your paintbrush, especially acrylic paint that dries quickly.

  • Never rest your paintbrush with bristles down in water or any kind of cleaning solvent. Otherwise, it may cause the bristles to bend and change form forever.

  • After cleaning, straighten the bristles while they are still wet and blot all the excess water with a cloth towel or tissue.

  • Store clean paintbrushes vertically, head-side up and bristles undisturbed by any pressure.
